The only way Jay would have known where the car was is if he was with Adnan at the time he did it “Jay says, after the Adcock call, they left Cathy’s (they went to Cathy’s to try and get an alibi) and that’s when they went to bury Hae in Leakin Park. Adnan and Jay went to Leakin park together to bury Hae’s body then ditch the car. Jay knew where Hae’s car was and Adnan and Jay were together the night everything happened. Jay is also not telling them everything and he admitted to not telling the truth either “I was not telling the them everything, no (The deal with Jay).” Jay’s story helps to prove that Adnan did the murder, because he can’t decide where he saw the body. They went by that story for a while and then he mentioned that he got to see the body out front of his grandmas house. He first said that he saw the body at a strip mall then he changed his story, and said that he saw it at the best buy.
When they listen to the the interviews of Jay they noticed that he kept changing the place of where Adnan showed Jay the body. When they listened to Jays interviews they realized that his stories weren’t matching up, and he kept changing details. When you are trying to prove to someone that you know who is guilty you shouldn’t change your story. With Adnan not Being able to remember or just not telling the truth, it helps to prove that he is guilty. But he doesn’t remember exactly where they went, or what they did, or what time it was. “He hung out with Jay on the 13th, both during and after school. If you can’t clearly remember what you were doing, and where you went but you can remember what you were doing the rest of the day that really stands out. Adnan could of been high when he did the murder and he doesn’t remember, but that still means that he did the murder.
Adnan could be lying and say he does not remember what he was doing that night, but he actually does know he is just covering for his story. When Adnan is talking to police, investigators, and Sarah (the narrator of the podcast) he says that he doesn’t have any remembrance of what he was doing that night. In my opinion I think Adnan is guilty for the murder of Hae Min Lee because he says that he has no remembrance of what he was doing at the time Hae was murdered, Jay also kept changing his story, and how did jay know where the car was. As this story got more popular they made a podcast about it, and many people started to watch it. Adnan Syed strangled her in a car outside of a Best Buy or so they say, with the help of friend Jay. I strongly agree that Adnan Syed is guilty for the murder of Hae Min Lee.
